Evelyn Larson Fuller, 102, of Grand Rapids formerly of Belding entered the 
grace of our Lord, Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at Porter Hills Retirement Community in 
Grand Rapids. Evelyn was born in Muskegon on June 7, 1908, the daughter of 
Oscar and Hannah Berglund Ohman.

In earlier years Evelyn attended Western Michigan University, earning a 
Bachelor of Science Degree and was co-owner of Larson’s Grocery store in 
Belding from 1947 to 1957 with her husband Harold Larson. Evelyn later taught 
kindergarten and 4h grades at Washington School in Belding from 1956 to 1969 
and was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority during the years she taught school. 
She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Belding.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lou Ellen and Charles Dewitt 
of Birmingham, Ala.; her grandchildren, Kameron and Jamie Smith, David and Keli 
DeWitt, Jonathan and Laura DeWitt; several; several great-grandchildren and 
great-great-grandchildren

She was preceded by her first husband, Harold Larson, in 1957, her second 
husband, Chester Fuller, in 1986 and a daughter, Harolyn Smith, in 1994.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, 
Belding, with Pastor Bruce Burfield officiating. Committal prayers will follow 
in river Ridge Cemetery, Belding. Visitation will be one hour before the 
service.
