Ionia Sentinel Standard - September 26, 1977

                               JERRY L. LaSARGE

HUBBARDSTON - Specialist Four Jerry L. LaSarage, 21, of Ft. Benning, Georgia, 
son of Mr.and Mrs.Duane LaSarge of 328 Pleasant street was killed in an 
automobile accident early Friday.

He was born August 10,1956 in Greenville and attended schools in Hubbardston and 
Carson City, graduating from Carson City-Crystal Area High School in 1975.

Specialist LaSarge entered the U.S. Army shortly after graduation.

Survivors include his parents; one brother, Brian at home; two sisters, Tracy at 
home and Mrs.Carey Payne of Hubbardston; two grandmothers,Mrs.Lilian LaSarge of 
Hubbardston and Mrs.Cornelia Kosten of Hubbardston and one niece, Melissa Payne.

Funeral services are Tuesday at 10 am from the Estep Funeral Home in Muir with 
Rev.Raymond Flessner of Carson City and Hubbardston United Methodist Churches 
officiating and full Military services under the  auspices of Hubbardston post 
182 American Legion.

Burial is in East Plains Cemetery.

Bearers are Bill and Denny Cunningham, Kenny Gesselman, Dan and Mike Ward and 
Fred Peiffer.
