The Ionia County News, Thursday, June 18, 1931
Hubbardston - Albert Latimer, aged 76, died at his home north east of the 
village Saturday.  Death was due to a complication of ailments which had 
caused ill health for the past two years.  Mr. Latimer was a life long 
resident of Lebanon township.  Born near the Round school, he grew to manhood 
there and taught school in that vicinity.  He later married Miss Susan 
Goolthrite and settled on a farm two miles from the village.

Mr. Latimer is survived by his widow, a son, Irving, who resides in New York 
City; and one grandson, Kingsley.  He was an ardent worker in the local M. E. 
church and a musician of ability.
