Park Newcombe officiating. Mrs. Lattimer died at 6:45 a.m. September 30th in the Clinton Memorial Hospital where she had been taken the day before following a severe heart attack. Interment was made in West Side cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Burns Funeral Home of Carson City. Susan Lenora Lattimer, 84, daughter of Orrin and Angeline Townsend Goolthrite, was born January 17, 1862 in Bloomer township, Montcalm county, Michigan. At the age of fourteen she moved with her parents to the farm east of Hubbardston which has since been her home. On February 28, 1882 she was united in marriage to Albert Lattimer. Two sons were born to this union. The elder died in infancy and the second, Irving Eugene, survives her as well as a grandson, Dr. J. K. Lattimer, both of New York City. Her husband died in June 1931. At an early age she united with the Methodist church and has been a faithful member, giving of means and talent to the best of her ability. For the past 20 years Mary Grove has lived with the family and has been a devoted friend and companion during Mrs. Lattimer’s declining years. Besides her son and grandson, she is survived by one niece, Mrs. C. S. Langdon of Hubbardston; several grand nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will miss her.
