Lauster, 89, died at the home of P.J. Costello of VanderHeyden court Sunday afternoon at 3:20 following a brief illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Lauster, who came to Cleveland from Germany after making their home in Ionia. He was born in Cleveland in 1849, and is the last of the family. Prayer services will be held at the Costello home at 2 p.m. Tuesday. There will be an escort of Knight Templars to Highland park, where interment will take place with Masonic services. __________________________________________ Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1938 Funeral services for George Lauster, who died at the home of Joseph P. Costello, VanderHeyden court Sunday afternoon, October 9, after a long illness, were held from the Costello residence Tuesday afternoon, October 11, at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Paul L. Stewart officiated. Interment was at Highland Park cemetery. The Knights Templars escorted the body to the grave where Masonic services were held. Bearers were Fred J. Buck, Roy T. Weber, Bert L. Fox, Ed. W. Nowland, William P. Marquette and Henry J. Cook.
