She was a former resident of the Saranac area. Born at Harrison December 17, 1904, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Tew. At one time she was a nurse’s aide in a nursing home. April 15, 1927 she was married at Clare to Alton Lautzenheiser and in 1950 was a resident of Easton township and taught at the Keefer school. She belonged to the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Besides the husband, Alton, she leaves a son, Robert of Saranac; two daughters, Mrs. Ora Fletcher of Sunfield and Mrs. Rose Brown of Ionia; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a half-sister, Dorothy Lenninga of Pontiac. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Roetman funeral home at Saranac. Interment will be at the Easton cemetery.
