Ionia County News, 10 Jun 1926

Funeral services for John M. Laux, pioneer resident of Keene township, were held 
from the St. Mary’s church at Miriam with Rev. Fr. John Maier of Belding in 
charge.  He was 74 years old and had lived in the vicinity 53 years.  Mr. and 
Mrs. Laux had planned on celebrating their 53rd wedding anniversary soon.
