Minnie H. wife of Anthony Laux died Friday at 4 pm at the home on Hackett 
Street.  Her age was 26, and she leaves three small children, the oldest being 
two years of age.  The rare disease known as Addison’s disease is given as the 
cause of death.  Funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday at Evangelical church.  
Interment, Oak Hill.

Mrs. Minnie H. Laux, nee Peterson, was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Aug. 26, 
1880, and died at Ionia, Mich., March 15, 1907, at the age of 26 yrs., 6 mo., 
and 17 days.  She came to America in 1901, and July 3, 1903, was married to 
Mr. Anthony Laux.  To this union were born three children, Wilma, and a pair 
of twins, Mary and olive.

Sister Laux was happily converted to God last January, during the revival 
meetings at the Evangelical church and a few weeks later joined that church. 
Her life has been one of faith and loving devotion to Christ and the church.  
She was an affectionate companion, and entirely devoted to her family of 
little ones.  She leaves a besides the husband and three children, a step-
mother, three brothers, three sister sand other relatives and friends to mourn 
their loss.

The funeral service, held at Evangelical church, and conducted by Rev. W. R. 
Currier, the pastor, on Monday afternoon was largely attended.  The singing 
was by Mrs. J. F. Wagner and Mrs. H. DeCamp.  The bearers were F. E. Bradford, 
Henry Welchman, Albert Kling and Herbert VanCamp.  Interment was in Oak Hill 
Cemetery.
