Constance Laux, 50, of 4527 McKendry Road, Ionia, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 1990, at
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  She was born Jan. 21, 1939 in Ionia, the
daughter of William H. and Beatrice Rathburn.  She was a member of St. Mary’s
Catholic Church, Miriam.

Surviving are her husband, Frederick Laux, two daughters, Terri Laux, Chicago,
Wendy Laux, Detroit; a son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and Barbara Laux, Ionia;
her mother Beatrice Rathburn, Saranac; two sisters, Corrine Gasper, Belding,
Marilyn Grueber, Traverse City; three grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial is 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Church, Miriam, with
burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  The Rev. Father Charlon O. Mason will officiate.
 Wake services are 7 p.m. Tuesday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding, where the
family will receive relatives and friends tonight from 7 to 9, Tuesday from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Multiple
Sclerosis Society.
