Greenville Daily News, 22 Feb 1980

Josephine Laux, 94, 8780 Krupp Rd., died Thursday at Belding Community Hospital.
 Mrs. Laux was born Feb. 25, 1885, in Keene Township, Ionia County.  She was a
member of St. Mary’s Church, Miriam.  Her husband, Albert, died in 1971.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Helen) Slager, Belding, Mrs. Catherine
Ebling Grand Rapids; a son, Kenneth, Kalamazoo; a brother, George Scheid,
Belding; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Church, Miriam, Father
John Wisneski officiating.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Rosary
will be recited Saturday at 8 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding.  Visitation
at the funeral home will be Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
