He has made his home there for the past 45 years. He was a retired farmer, having owned a farm at Miriam. He was born in New York and came to Michigan when he was 19 years old. he has been blind for the past 25. Funeral services will be held from St. John's Catholic church in Belding Wednesday at 9 a.m. Interment will be at St. Joseph's cemetery. Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at the Fales-Hoffman funeral home in Belding.
