          RITES HELD FOR HAROLD A. LAUX

   Harold A. Laux, 63, Rte. 2 Ainsworth Road, passed away Saturday afternoon at the
Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital, where he had been hospitalized since April 26.

   He was born in Ionia County May 6,  1913, the son Peter and Maybelle (Walton)
Laux and had attended the 
Ionia schools.

   He married Hazel M. Brandt October 26, 1940 in Kenthucky, was a farmer and had
resided in the Lake 
Odessa area since his marriage.

   Surviving are his wife; two sons, James and Timothy both at home; three
daughters, Mrs. Glendon( Joan) 
Brock of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Edward (Pamela) Hull and Mrs. Craig (Pauline) Patrick
both of Ionia; 11 
grandchildren; a brother David Laux of Williamson; his stepmother, Mrs. Della Laux
and a step sister, Mrs. Don 
(Nell) Hauserman, both of Ionia.

   Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel.
Rev. Edgar Perkins 
officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
