                                ALBERT LAUX

Funeral services for Albert Laux, 88, of 8780 Krupp Road were held Wednesday 
morning at St. Mary's Church,Miriam. He died March 8 in Belding Community 
Hospital.

Mr.Laux was born September 16, 1882 in Otisco Township. His parents were J.P. 
and Helen (Dohm) Laux. He was married to Josephine Scheid November 22, 1904 at 
Miriam. He was a farmer and a lifetime resident of the area. He was a member of 
St.Mary's Church, Miriam and a member of Gleaners.

Mr.Laux is survived by his wife Josephine; two daughters, Mrs.Henry (Helen) 
Slager of Route 1 and Mrs.Catherine Ebling of Grand Rapids; one son Kenneth of 
Kalamazoo; one sister Mrs.Lillian Schoenborn of Route 2; four grandchildren; two 
great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Rev. Father Charles E.Steves officiated at the services. Rosary was said Tuesday 
evening at the Huffman Funeral Home. Interment was at St.Mary's Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were Arthur Laux, Clarence Laux, James Schoenborn, Harry Scheid, 
Howard Scheid and Arthur Scheid.
