MARION R. LaVEAN

SARANAC - Marion R. LaVean, 82, died Thursday.

He was born in Saranac Nov. 10, 1908, the son fo Gilbert and Margaret Grieves 
LaVean.

He was employed by Oldsmobile Corporation in Lansing for 20 years.

He married Lucy Hanna on June 22, 1930, in Portland.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Gilbert of Virginia; three brothers, Roy of 
St.Johns, Ward of Jenison, and Garth of Saranac; six grandchildren and six 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Duane in 1985 and one brother, Westley.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Lake funeral Home, with the 
Rev.Lawrence Pike officiating.

Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-8 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the Kidney Foundation, in care of the 
funeral home.
