PHYLLIS BROWN LAVIOLETTE
Phyllis Brown Laviolette, age 91, of Ionia passed away Feb. 11, 2016. She was 
born Aug. 23,1924 in Ionia, the daughter of Paul and Velma Brown.

Phyllis graduated from Ionia High School, Class of 1941. She married Ron 
Laviolette on March 28, 1958 in Ionia. He passed away on Sept 14, 2009. Starting 
at the age of 18, Phyllis was the Ionia County Clerk from 1942 until retiring in 
1988. She resided at Green Acres for the last four years and loved it there. 
Phyllis and her husband, Ron loved spending time any chance they got at their 
cottage in Detour and were big MSU fans.

Phyllis is survived by her nieces and nephews; Linda Goepper, Karen Packard, 
Susan Shrosbree, Joseph Laviolette, Lisa Quinn, Martha Wiltse, and Lynn 
Laviolette; and brother-in-law's, Bill Laviolette and Dan (Karen) Laviolette.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron Laviolette; and sister, 
Dorothea Daniels.

No service will be held at this time. Arrangements by Lake funeral Home in 
Ionia. Those wishing may make contributions to the Salvation Army. Online
