She had been resident of Indiana for eight years moving there from Woodland. Mr. Lavy was the daughter of Benjamin and Amanda Brovont and native of Stark County, Ohio coming to Michigan with her parents when five years of age. She was a resident of the local area since 1933 coming here from Mulliken and moving to Woodland in 1945. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jess (Florence) Wise of Mulliken, Mrs. Ruth Meyers of Lansing and Mrs. Lawrence (Dora) Mitchell of Dayton, Oh, two sons Oliver Bashore of Grand Ledge and Carl Bashore of Mason; 12 grand children and seven great grandchildren. Her husband, Issac Bashore, passed away ten years ago. Funeral services were held Thursday (today) at 2 at the Stone Funeral Home at Canden, Indiana with graveside services at the Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa, Friday at 11 o'clock.
