                       THE SECOND VICTIM

Nicholas Lawless Dies From Injuries Received From a Runaway Accident.

Died-Friday morning, July 8th, 1892, Nicholas Lawless, aged 64 years. The 
funeral was held at the Catholic Church in this village Monday forenoon, Rev.Fr. 
Koenig officiating. Mr.Lawless' death resulted from the injuries that he 
received in the recent runaway that killed his wife. The accident injured his 
spine and the lower part of his body was badly paralyzed. The injuries were of 
such a nature that but little hope had been entertained of his recovery from the 
time he was hurt.
