Lake Odessa Wave 
MRS. LAWRENCE DIES IN HASTINGS
   Mrs. Urba (Ethel) Lawrence, 62, died at a convalescent home in Hastings Thursday
morning after being a patient at Pennock hospital for about two weeks.  She was a former 
resident and also lived in Ionia where Mr. Lawrence died about fifteen years ago.  They 
resided on the Mrs. Anna Sweltzer farm east of town several years before moving to Ionia.  
She moved to Hastings about twelve years ago.
   Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Dennis Duffey of Middleville and Mrs. Leo Enzian
of Cloverdale, a sister Mrs. Nellie Badder of Ionia, two brothers Earl Monks of Portland 
and Clyde Monks of Ionia, and several grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held Sunday at the Leonard chapel with burial in Lakeside
cemetery, Lake Odessa.  Rev. Leason Sharpe officiated.
