The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 13, 1962
Mrs. Lorena M. Laycock, 47, died at Traverse City Wednesday afternoon.  Born 
in Ionia county April 24, 1915, Mrs. Laycock had lived in the Ionia area until 
about six years ago.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Utter.  

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Winters of Greenville; two 
grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Utter of Midland; four brothers, Howard Utter 
and Raymond of Midland, Robert and Russell of Fenwick; and two sisters, Mrs. 
Pearl Hopkins of Fenwick, and Mrs. Ethel Hicks of Owosso.  

Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home with interment in the 
family lot at Tuttle cemetery.
