Annetta F. Layle, 87, of 236 East High street, Hastings, a retired printer, died
Sunday at 1 p.m. in McDowell convalescent home at Hastings where she had been a
patient two months.  She was born May 1, 1877 in Yankee Springs township, Barry
county, the daughter of George and Anna Kreiss Layle.

Miss Layle retired 20 years ago from the printing profession and during her
career had worked for a time with Lake Odessa Wave and the Sunfield Sentinel. 
She had lived in Hastings since her retirement and prior to that resided 15
years in Clarksville.

She is survived by two brothers, George Layle of Hastings and Dorr of Lake
Odessa; two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral service will be at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa at 2 o’clock
Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Luther Brokaw officiating.  Interment will be at
Lakeside cemetery.
