The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, June 2, 1937

Danny LaZall, five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George LaZall, who were 
residents of Ionia a year ago, died at Memorial hospital in Owosso last week 
after being ill for seven weeks.  His illness began when an eardrum was 
punctured and streptococci infection developed which affected his heart.  
Burial was at Caro cemetery, Sunday May 30.  Mr. LaZall worked in Ionia as 
representative for a tire company.
