Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Sat., May 1, 1937
Mrs. Charlotte Lorraine Leach, 87, died Saturday morning at 2 o'clock, May 1 
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. VanNorman following an illness of the 
past few years.

She was born near Poppey Hill, Onondags county, New York and came to Michigan 
at the age of 17 years, where she was married to Theodore Baxter at Palo.  In 
1920, Theodore Baxter died, and she was married to Theodore Leach, who died in 
1923.  She was a member of the Palo Methodist church, and an active member of 
the Easter Star as long as her health permitted.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. J. VanNorman of Palo.

Prayer services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her 
daughter, and at the Palo Methodist church at 2:30.  Burial will be at the 
Palo cemetery.
