The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 8, 1978


A funeral mass for Dr. Russell E. Leach, 67, who died March 3, was held at 11 
a.m. Tuesday from SS Peter and Paul catholic church with Rev. Fr. Henry J. 
Dondzila officiating.  Committal services were at the church with burial in Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.

Pallbearers were: H. H. Callahan, Kenneth Downing, Edward Colbert, Walter 
Steele, Charles Theisen and Hoyt Christensen.

Prior to the church service a family prayer service was at Leddick funeral 
home.  Following the service at the church, a luncheon, prepared by St. Jude’s 
Circle of the Catholic church, was served to members of the family and friends 
in the school cafetorium.
