Mr. Leach, with a party of hunters, one of whom was W. S. Lambertson of this city, went north a few weeks ago on a hunting trip and Mr. Leach took a severe cold, becoming so sick that he was brought home Nov. 19. Pneumonia resulted and physicians were unable to give relief and stay the progress of the disease. Ben Hall was also one of the party and with the others rendered his friend all the assistance possible. Deceased was a long time resident of Orleans township, a most active man in his ways and at the time of his death was rural mail carried No. 20, out of Orleans. He was aged 65 years and is survived by the wife and three children, Ernest and Miss Fern, who live at home, and Mrs. A. W. Cotton of Ionia.
