Ionia Daily Sentinel, 23 Dec 1914

Thos. Leak, a pioneer resident of Lake Odessa passed to the great beyond Tuesday
evening, Dec. 18.  Mr. Leak was a man of sterling character, always honest and
upright.  The funeral was held from the Congregational church Friday, the
pastor, Rev. L.L. Steadman officiating.

Thos. Yager and family of Jackson and Andrew Wiselogle and family of Albion were
here last week to attend the funeral of their grandfather Thos. Leak.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Lakeside Cemetery.]
