Lear, 81, of Lake Odessa, who died at the home of Mrs. Rose Bainbridge, in Lake Odessa Friday afternoon, were held from the Bainbridge home Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. George Stark, pastor of the Lake Odessa Congregational church officiating. Interment was at Lakeside cemetery. Mr. Lear came to Michigan from Luzerne county, Pennsylvania in the fall of 1877, and settled in Barry county. He later moved to Sebewa township and from there to Lake Odessa where he has resided for the past 20 years. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Augusta Armstrong, of California; two nephews, Charles Kaiser, of Wisconsin; and Gernie Keiser, of Middleville; and one niece, Mrs. Grace Nichols, of Middleville.
