Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Sept. 16, 1995

SARANAC- Robert Lee Leary, 68, of Saranac, died Sunday, Sept. 17, 1995 at 
Blodgett Hospital.

He was born Sept. 15, 1927, the son of Lee and Elizabeth Fox Leary in Saranac. 
He was a Korean War Veteran of the Army and was a member of the Saranac VFW, 
the American Legion and the Cooties.

He was preceded in death by wife, Marrianne Leary, in 1988.

He is survive by his son William Leary, of Saranac; daughters; Deborah 
(Michael) Carey, of St. Johns and Nancy Leary, of Saranac; brother, Leonard 
Leary, of Saranac; grandchildren Bradley and Amberlea; one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Galilee Baptist Church in 
Saranac with Rev. James Frank officiating. Interment will be in Saranac 
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and on 
Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac. 

Contributions may be made to the Saranac Fire Department or the Hospice of 
Ionia.
