Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. March 20, 2012

David Eugene Leavitt, 57, of Ionia, passed away March 15, 2012. He was born 
Feb. 17, 1955 in Wyandotte, the son of Richard and Patricia (Bush) Leavitt. 
David married Dorothy McNett Aug. 15, 1987 in Romulus. He attended Berlin 
Center Church.

David is survived by his loving wife of 24 ears, Dorothy Leavitt of Ionia; 
daughters; April Dawn (Deon) Brashier of St. Clair Shores, Dottie (Shawn) Brown 
of Sturgis and Angelica (Christopher) Scoonmaker of Lake Odessa; six 
grandchildren; Mitchell, Shawn, Hallie, Isabella, Alyna and Aurek; brothers 
Steve Leavitt of Bellevue, Paul (Denise) Leavitt of Hastings, Ricky (Paula) 
Leavitt of Washington and Brian Leavitt of Nashville.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Berlin Center Church with 
Pastor Den Slattery officiating. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
