Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Nov. 5, 1979

CLARKSVILLE- Wayne G. Leazenby, 52, of Clarksville, died Saturday morning at 
his residence. He was born in Saranac, the son of Linzie and Opal (Heaven) 
Leazenby.

Mr. Leazenby attended Saranac and Clarksville schools. He was married to 
Gloria Lang on May 20, 1948 in Grand Rapids.

He was a life-long resident of the Clarksville area and farmed until 1972. 
He was an employee at Lear-Seglier Corp. in Grand Rapids for 29 years.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria; two sons, Jerry and Doug, both of 
Clarksville, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Leanna) Stuck, of Carleton; Mrs. 
Stephen (Rozanna) Adams, of Ionia; four grandchildren; his mother, Opal; 
four sisters, Mrs. Matthew (Phyllis) Lindhout of Rockford, Mrs. Waneta 
Frisbie of Muskegon, Mrs. Roger Kauffman of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Jacob (Joy) 
Berger of Clarksville; one step-brother, Tom Leazenby of Peoria, Ill. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Clarksville Bible 
Church with Rev. Elwood Norton officiating. Burial will be in Clarksville 
tonight from 7-9.

A memorial fund has been established for the Kidney Foundation.
