The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 30, 1960

Mrs. Bessie R. Lee, 75, 423 Hambrook, Belding, died March 28 following three 
years illness.  Born in Orleans township, Ionia county, Mrs. Lee was a 
lifelong resident of the Belding area.  She was the daughter of O’Vett and 
Susan Harrington.  July 1, 1903, she was married in Belding to Glenn E. Lee 
who survives.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gayle Spencer of 
Belding; two sons, Russell and Eugene of Belding; two half-brothers, Lee and 
O’Vett Harrington of route one, Ionia; seven grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Huffman funeral home in 
Belding with burial at River Ridge cemetery.  The Rev. Luther Brokaw will 
officiate.
