                             Another Pioneer Gone.

Hiram S. Lee of Keene died Sunday, of disability consequent upon old age. He 
did not take to his bed until Saturday, little more than twenty-four hours 
before his death.

Mr. Lee was born near Albany, New York, April 19, 1817. He moved to Ionia 
County in the spring of 1840, making his home on a piece of land in Odessa, 
where he resided eleven years, and then moved to Keene, on the farm which was 
his home for 41 years, and where he died. He leaves three sons: Hiram N, 
formerly sheriff of this county, Judson and Henry, all residents of Keene.
