He was born in Ionia, June 10, 1893, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lee. Self employed, he collected and repaired guns and was partner with his wife in the Pearl Lee doll shop. He had operated a battery shop in Detroit returning to Ionia in 1944. He was a member of the First Baptist church. July 10, 1948, he was married in Pinckney to Pearl Lankford who survives. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist church. Rev. Gilbert Kohler will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park cemetery. Visitation hours at Myers-Roetman funeral home are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Mr. Lee may be seen at the church Saturday between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. A memorial has been established for First Baptist church.
