Norman R. Lee, 73, of R-3, died unexpectedly at Grand Rapids Osteopathic
Hospital, Sunday, where he had been a patient for the last 20 days.  Mr. Lee was
born in Brantford, Ontario, September 29, 1891 and had lived in the Belding area
for 40 years and was a carpenter.  He attended Central Methodist church.  On
January 17, 1916, he married Theda Simmons who survives.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Norma) Hamilton, R-3; one brother,
Harvey E. Lee, Entrican; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home with the
Rev. Ralph Dean, pastor of Central Methodist church, officiating.  Burial was in
Rest Haven Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers were Don Fisk, Elwood Zeigler, Wallace
Updike, James Taylor, Richard Taylor and Julius Brechting.
