Alfred E. Lee, 91, passed away Friday evening at 10 o’clock at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Mary Wandell of Ionia township, after a long illness.  He had 
lived with his daughter for the past 10 years.

He was born July 17, 1866 at Coldwater the son of Levertt and Abny Lee.  He 
lived in Stanton for 15 years and was married to Emily I. Buck July 31, 1892 at 
Pewamo.

He was a resident farmer for six years in Pewamo and farmed for five years 
north of Muir and was a farmer for 40 years south of Lyons.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Wandell; one brother, Alwin of Bend, 
Oregon; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Boynton funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 
1:30 and interment will be at Tuttle cemetery.  The body will repose at the 
home of his daughter until Tuesday morning.
