Lee, which occurred at 9 o'clock Sunday morning at his home in Easton, was received with sorrow and regret by many friends in this city. Mr. Lee suffered about five weeks with Typhoid fever, to which disease he finally succumbed. He was born in Canada, his relatives living a the present time in Brantford. He was 37 years of age. Besides a devoted wife he leaves a bright little son aged 10years, who are deeply sympathized with in their sad affliction. Deceased had been a resident of Ionia for many years, and his genial spirit and honest character won for him the friendship and esteem of all who made his acquaintance. For some time he was engaged in the confectionery business, and later had the management of the old Titus hotel, but for a time past he has been engaged in handling a patent roofing paint. Mr. Lee belonged to both the Maccabees and the Woodmen, having a $1,00 policy in each order, and the two orders will furnish the bearers for the funeral which will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the residence, the second house west of the Pere Marquette overhead crossing beyond the West Main street limits in Easton. It was here that he bean to see the brightness of life, having the past year or so completed the building of a cozy home, the enjoyment of which is so early cut off by death. The interment in Highland Park. Mrs. A.E. Evans, of Brantford, sister of deceased, with her husband arrived on Sunday. Monday's Daily Sentinel.
