Daily Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Oct. 7, 1932

Mrs. Alfred Lee, south of Lyons, died at her home at 9:30 Thursday evening, 
October 6 following months of illness of cancer. Funeral services will be 
conducted at the home in Lyons township by Dr. Paul L. Stewart Sunday afternoon 
at 2 o'clock.

Before her marriage she was Emily Isadore Lee. She was born June 28, 1868, in 
Bengal township, Clinton county, and one of the seven children of Mr. and Mrs. 
Harrison Buck. Two of this family of children preceded her in death.

July 31, 1892, she was united in marriage to Alfred E. Lee, who with three 
daughters, Lorena Lee, at home; Mrs. Elba Wandell, of Ionia and Mrs. Lavaldin 
Hull, of Pewamo, survive. She also leaves nine grandchildren and two brothers, 
Elmer Buck, St. Johns; Fred Buck, Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Greer, and 
Mrs. Herman Ike, of St. Johns.
