Lee, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Lee, of Keene township, jumped from a fourth story window of Butterworth hospital, Grand Rapids Tuesday night and was almost instantly killed. He was taken to the hospital earlier in the week for an operation after acute appendicitis had been diagnosed. Following the operation he was reported gaining but it was said he was in considerable pain late Tuesday and was restless during the night. His special nurse attempted to stop him, but was knocked down. The young man attended grade school at Potters Corners and later was a student at Saranac High school. He lived with his parents. Surviving, besides his mother and father, as a sister, Mrs. Elva Parker, of Sand Lake; a brother, Gene, at home; his grandmother, Mrs. Hiram Lee; and an uncle Benamin Congress. Funeral arrangements had not been made late Wednesday. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon, 2 p.m., at the home and 2:30 p.m. in the Saranac Methodist church.
