Lake Odessa Wave, 25 Apr 1901

Elijah Leek, a well known and highly respected farmer; living one half mile west 
of the Rosina postoffice, died at his home last Saturday night, of apoplexy.  Mr. 
Leek had not been ill, and his sudden and unlooked for taking away came as a 
tremendous shock to his family and the community.  He leaves a wife and seven 
children.  The funeral was held Tuesday from the west Sebewa Baptist church, and 
the remains interred in the cemetery near by.
