MARK LEETCH HAD JUST RETURNED FROM VISIT IN FLORIDA WHEN STRICKEN Mrs. Mark Leetch, age 68, passed away very suddenly Monday night at 11:30 at her home on Howard street. Marie Eward was born July 29, 1872 in Grand Haven, and at the age of 12 moved to South Dakota. She was married on April 17, 1897 in Pierpont, South Dakota, to Mark Leetch and in the spring of 1908 the couple moved to this city, where they have since resided. Mr. and Mrs. Leetch, who spent two months in Florida this winter had been home only a week, and the warm southern climate seemed to have helped Mrs. Leetch very much, however, death came within an hour after the severe heart attack. Survivors beside the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Vern Bailey, of this city, a sister, Mrs. J.F. Malloy of Longville, Minn., and two grandsons, Robert and Roger Bailey. Funeral rites will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Fales funeral home with Rev. H.E. Curch of Mt. Pleasant officiating, and interment will be in East Plains cemetery, Clinton county, beside a daughter who died at the age of two days.
