The Portland Review & Observer, Monday, July 5, 1982

George A. Lehman of 1800 Lillian Blvd., Portland died June 27 at a Lansing 
hospital.  He was 76.  Mr. Lehman was born June 9, 1906.

He is survived by his wife, Iola, sons, George J. of Bath, Thomas of Portland 
and Larry of Portland; daughters, Mrs. Beverly Mellstead of Charlotte, Mrs. 
Mary Ellen Schrauben of Portland, and Mrs. Barbara Foote of Bath; 24 
grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Martha Fuerstein of 
Belding.

Mr. Lehman was a member of Portland VFW 4090 and the Dad’s Club.

Services were held Wednesday, June 30 at Portland St. Patrick Church with Rev. 
Father Donald Weber officiating.  Burial was at Danby Cemetery.
