Ionia Sentinel Standard – 15 June 1965
John A. Lehman, 74, of Lake City passed away at his home Sunday at 10 pm 
following a lengthy illness.  He was born in January, 1891 and was the son of 
Michael and Carolyn Lehman and made his home in Ionia for 59 years.  December 
of 1919 he was married to Minnie Anderson who survives.  Other survivors 
include two sisters, Mrs. Marian Hurd of Lansing and Mrs. Lillie North of 
Hubbardston.  Also five brothers, Theodore, Harry and Clement all of Ionia, 
Fred of Palo and Leo of Oregon.  Military funeral services will be Wednesday 
at 2 pm in Lake City, burial in Lake City Cemetery.
