Bettye Jane Lehman, age 81, of Ionia, passed away Jan. 21, 2008 in Ionia Twp.  
She was born March 12, 1926 in Maryland the daughter of Lawrence and Helen 
(Baugher) Powers.  She married Charles Lehman Nov. 6, 1944 in Arizona who 
preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1993.

Bettye is survived by her brothers James Ray Powers of Jackson, Lawrence 
(Ethel) Powers of Orleans, Ernie (Carol) Powers of Missouri, Jack (Deanna) 
Powers of Ionia, Frankie Powers and Robert Powers; sisters, Helen Johnston of 
Blanchard, Hilda (Tony) Spelgatti of Arizona and Susanne (Herbie) Williams of 
Arizona and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents 
and her husband.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 1:30 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Muir 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  The family will receive friends and 
relatives Friday 11:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.  You 
may make memorial contributions in Betty’s name to the family.
