LAKE ODESSA-Earl A. Lehman, 74, died at Pennock hospital in Hastings at 8:45 
p.m. Tuesday. He had been a patient two weeks.

A lifelong resident of the Woodland and Lake Odessa areas, he was born in 
Woodland August 12, 1886, the son of John and Frances Byrd Lehman. He was a 
farmer and resided at his present farm the past 41 years.

March 9, 1913 he was married to Essie Webster who survives him.

Other survivors include three sons, Emerson of Sunfield, Leon of Ionia, and 
Owen Lehman of Lake Odessa; two daughters’ Mrs. Ruth Newton of Woodland and 
Mrs. Betty Baghal of Pittsburg, Pa.; a brother, Percy and a sister, Mrs. Orpha 
Wing of Woodland, and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral will be at the Pickens chapel at 1:30 Friday afternoon with burial at 
Woodland Memorial cemetery. The Rev. Vernon Beardsley will officiate.
