Julia A. Lehman, 78, of Ionia, died Friday at the Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital.

She was born Oct. 12, 1909 in Odessa Township, the daughter of Lewis and Mary 
(Schnabel) Lehman.

She attended the Carr Rural School and lived in Odessa Township until moving to 
Ionia 22 years ago. She attended SS. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church and 
graduated from SS. Peter and Paul’s Academy. She worked at the A.C. Spark Plug 
Factory in Ionia.

Surviving are: one sister, Therese S. Lehman of Ionia, one brother, Lewis 
Lehman of Lake Odessa; five nieces and three nephews; three great-nieces and 
three great-nephews; several cousins.

She was preceded in death y two sisters, Mary Rose Leik and Gertrude Lehman and 
one brother Thomas Lehman.

Funeral services will be Tuesday (today) at 11 a.m. at the SS. Peter and Paul 
Catholic Church in Ionia.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Masses for Church or the SS. Peter and 
Paul’s Academy Trust Fund.

Arrangements were by the Cook Funeral Home, Ionia.
