Obituary of Mrs. Lewis Lehman, Sr.

Funeral services were held from the S.S. Peter and Paul church in Ionia, Monday, 
Apr. 24, for Mrs. Lewis Lehman, Sr., 68, daughter of the late Anton and Julia 
Schnabel, the Rev. Fr. John S. Fons officiating at the requiem mass and burial 
was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Mrs. Lehman was born in Berlin township, January 24, 1878, and on November 10, 
1898, she was married to Lewis Lehman, Sr. of Odessa township. She was a member 
of the Rosary society of S.S. Peter and Paul church.

Besides the husband, Mrs. Lehman is survived by six children, Gertrude Lehman in 
Detroit, Thomas Lehman at Ionia, Lewis Lehman, Jr. in Odessa township, Mr. Henry 
Leik in Portland, Julia and Theresa Lehman at home; also six grandchildren, two 
sisters, Susie Schnabel and Mrs. George Krywanski, and three brothers, Frank, 
Peter and Michael Schnabel. 

Pall bearers were Daniel Lehman, James Lehman, George Krywanski, Leonard Zanto, 
James Schnabel and Eugene Slowinski.
