Peter and Paul was filled to overflowing Wednesday morning with relatives and friends who came to pay their last respects to Mrs. Anna Lehman, wife of John Lehman, of West Sebewa, who died Sunday at her home. Rev. Fr. Joseph A. Maier officiated at Requiem High Mass and preached the sermon in which he extolled the traits of a loving wife and mother as had been portrayed in the life of the deceased. The remains were interred in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Daniel, George, and James Lehman, and George, Arthur, and Roman Slowinski acting as pallbearers. Mrs. Lehman, who was 58 years of age and had resided in West Sebewa for the past 28 years, her previous years having been spent Berlin township where she was born. She leaves, besides her husband, three sons, Daniel of Ionia; George, a student of the Lansing Business University, and James, at home, and one daughter, Martha, a senior of SS. Peter and Paul academy; two sisters, Mrs. Guy W. Eicholtz, of Chicago, and Mrs. Joseph Majinski, of Lake Odessa, and three brothers, Theodore Slowinski of Grand Rapids, Michael Slowinski of Alma, and Dan Slowinski of Odessa township.
