Born February 6, 1889, he was the son of Michael and Carline Rett Lehman and was a lifetime resident of Ionia county. He had worked as a carpenter for William Morris and Son and also Pere Marquette railroad. He was a member of First Christian church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William McClow of Detroit, Mrs. Milton Jenkins of Long Beach, California; a son, Gordon Lehman of Ionia; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; three brothers, Fred of Palo, Harry and Clement of Ionia; sister, Mrs. Robert North of Hubbardston. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at First Christian church. Rev. Theodore Forbes will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park cemetery. Until 12:30 a.m. Thursday Mr. Lehman will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home. Subsequent Publication: Thursday, February 24, 1972 Rev. Theodore Forbes officiated at funeral services Thursday afternoon at First Christian church for Theodore Joseph Lehman who died Monday. Organist was Sara Carpenter. Interment was at Highland Park cemetery.
