The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, November 7, 1983
Margaret Lehman, 69, of 149 Florence St., Woodland died Friday, Nov. 4, in 
Ingham Medical Center, Lansing.  She was born in Hastings Dec. 8, 1913, the 
daughter of Warnie and Estelle Kelsey.  She was married to Ronald Lehman June 
24, 1936.

She was long active in the Woodland community until her retirement in 1978, 
having served as the community’s first telephone operator and also as head 
cook at Woodland School until 1978.  

Surviving are her husband, Ronald; one son, Harold; two grandsons, and one 
brother, Kenneth Kelsey, of Hastings.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops Funeral 
Chapel in Lake Odessa, the Rev. Clinton Galloway Bradley officiating.  Burial 
will be in Woodland Memorial Park.
