Harry “Joe” Joseph Lehman, age 71, of Ionia passed away June 25, 2007 in 
Ionia.  He was born January 31, 1936 in Ionia Twp., the son of Harry and Laura 
(Sprague) Lehman. He was an Ionia High School graduate class of 1954. Joe 
married Peggy Hoy October 15, 1955. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and 
watching ball games with his kids.

Joe is survived by his loving wife Peggy Lehman of Ionia; children, Edward and 
Larena Lehman of Ionia, Cindy and Lee Butler of Ionia, Randy and Tammy Lehman 
of Lake Odessa, Stuart and Sheila Lehman of Ionia and Tamara and Harold Seaman 
of Ionia; brother, Stanley Lehman of Ionia; brother in law, Robert and Bonnie 
Hoy of Fenwick, Kenny Hoy of Ionia and David Hoy of Ionia; sister in laws, 
Betty Lehman of Ionia and Betty and Jack Harder of Ionia; special nieces, 
Linda Newcomb of Saranac and Marlene Lake of Clarksville; 15 grandchildren and 
12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in 
death by his parents; 2 brothers, Gerald and Charles and his sister Frances.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment North Plains Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral 
home. Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution in Joe's name to Carson 
City Hospice.
