Edward Lehman enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1974.  He was stationed in the
Philippines during the Vietnam Era where he met his wife, Larena Retubado.  They
married on Nov. 20, 1976.  Edward was a member of the VFW in Sheridan.

Ed had a heart of gold and was known by many for his antiquing business.  He was
a jack of all trades and a master craftsman.  He enjoyed spending time with his
family and traveling.

Edward is survived by his wife, Larena Lehman of Ionia; children, Jeremiah
(Stephanie) Lehman of Grand Rapids, Russell’ (David) Lehman-Allen of Illinois,
and Holly Ann (Jacob) Powers of Lowell; mother, Peggy Lehman of Ionia; brothers,
Randy Lehman of Ionia and Stuart (Sheila) Lehman of Ionia; sisters, Cindy (Lee)
Butler of Ionia and Tamara (Harold) Seaman of Ionia; grandchildren, Meghan,
Grace, Ava, Jack, Eddie, Aidan, and Pepper.  He was preceded in death by his
father, Harry Lehman; grandparents and uncles.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 23, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in
Ionia with Father Charlon Mason officiating.  Interment North Plains Cemetery. 
Visitation will be at on Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  A “Go Fund Me”
account has be set up in Edward’s name for donations.
